Students request accommodations through Duke’s Accommodate Student Portal and submit documentation describing the disability and functional barriers. SDAO then reviews the request and works with the student through an individualized process.
Also, Duke has a process for disability-related housing accommodations through SDAO and Housing & Residential Life. Students should request accommodations through SDAO and follow the applicable housing process/deadlines. [2]
